AOSTA VALLEY

AOSTA VALLEY

Surrounded by the highest mountains in Europe, the Aosta Valley is a unique and singular land that boasts a millennium history testified by distinctive and spectacular traditions, an incontaminated alpine nature, enclosed in a valley rich in woods, lakes, falls, and glacier and eventually a great heritage of culture, handicraft and wine and food traditions, secretly kept for centuries and still alive.
Very well-known since the XIXth century for its spa waters and favourite destination of the pioneers of the climbing, the AostaValley has a long welcoming tradition that today has been turned into a touristic offer that ranges from the winter sports to the parks and natural reserves, from the welfare to the food-and-wine tradition, from the medieval castles to the Roman monuments, from trekking to the climbing, from the typical events of the alpine culture to the traditional handicraft.
